Warranty Policies
1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing a Refurbished laptops & Devices from GoRenovare , we are committed to providing high-quality refurbished laptops and ensuring that our customers receive reliable products backed by Renovare limited warranty support. This Warranty Policy outlines the warranty coverage, terms, and conditions applicable to all refurbished Laptops & Desktops purchased from GoRenovare only.
Please Note: This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Gorenovare official website www.gorenovare.in. Products purchased from third-party marketplaces where GoRenovare is a seller are not covered under this warranty. For those purchases, please refer to the specific warranty and return policies provided by the respective marketplace.
2. Warranty Coverage
Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the duration specified in this policy. The following components are covered:
6 Months Warranty on Laptop/Desktop: Including the motherboard, processor (CPU), memory (RAM), storage (HDD/SSD), Keyboard, Touch pad, Display screen*
6 Months Warranty on Power Adapter and Battery: The included power adapter and internal battery are covered against defects in material or workmanship.
External Peripherals: Any accessories provided with the laptop (such as external mouse, keyboard, etc.) are covered against defects for 6 months from the date of purchase.
GoRenovare will service covered hardware issues resulting from manufacturing defects or normal use during the warranty period.
NOTE: Refurbished laptops may have cosmetic imperfections, such as minor scratches or scuffs, which are not covered under the warranty.
3. Warranty Period
Standard Warranty: The standard warranty for refurbished laptops is 6 months starting from the date of purchase.
Extended Warranty: gorenovare.com offers an extended warranty pack of up to 6 months or 1 year for an additional fee. This coverage includes the same protections as the standard warranty and extends the duration for a further period.
3.1 Warranty Type
This is Pickup and Drop warranty on hardware defects, it is not an onsite support. Our support team will organize pickup of device through courier under warranty from customer premises (under 20k serviceable pin code list) , once device is received at our service centre, we will repair the unit and bring it back to working condition, free from all defects covered under warranty, further we will ship the unit back to customer through courier.
Service and Support Availability
Service and Support Availability: Service and support for warranty claims will be provided based on parts availability and GoRenovare service center capabilities. Certain models may require additional lead time for repair or replacement due to component sourcing or specific part requirements.
Force Majeure: GoRenovare is not liable for delays, interruptions, or inability to fulfil warranty obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, supply shortages, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, warranty obligations will be adjusted or deferred until the resolution of the event, as permitted by law.
When returning a product for warranty service, ensure that it is properly packaged to prevent damage during transit. Gorenovare is not responsible for any damage that occurs during shipping due to improper packaging.
4. Limitation of Liabilityation of Liability
No Guarantee of Error-Free Operation
GoRenovare does not guarantee that the operation of the refurbished product will be uninterrupted or error-free. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, but it does not cover software issues, user errors, or other non-hardware-related problems.
5. Warranty Exclusions
The following are excluded from the Warranty:
Accidental Damage: Damage due to dropping, spilling liquids, or physical impacts, including screen cracks and dented components, warranty will be voided in such case.
User-Induced Damage: Issues caused by misuse, improper handling, unauthorized modifications, installation of third-party hardware, or overclocking of components, warranty will be voided in such case.
Software and Data Loss: Issues related to operating systems, software, virus infections, or data loss due to user negligence are not covered. In no case Renovare will be responsible for Data loss.
Third-Party Accessories: Any accessories / parts not included with the laptop/device at the time of purchase are not covered. even if they are purchased from Gorenovare separately.
Any software, whether included with or installed on the refurbished product, is not covered by this warranty. This includes operating systems, applications, and other software components. Please refer to the licensing agreement that accompanies the software for details regarding your rights and responsibilities.
Natural Wear and Tear: Cosmetic issues such as worn keyboard keys, surface scratches, or fading of stickers are not covered.
Environmental Damage: Exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, or unauthorized power sources.
Patches & Dots on Display* - white, black patches, pixel discoloration & dots comes on screen with improper usage of laptop over the period and hence are not covered under warranty on display.
Products reported as stolen or those that cannot be accessed due to security measures like passcodes, and where ownership cannot be verified.
6. Claim Process
To make a warranty claim, follow these steps:

Provide Proof of Purchase: Include the order number, receipt, or invoice to confirm your purchase.
Troubleshooting: Our customer service may request troubleshooting steps, such as performing a system reset or software diagnostic, to identify the issue.
Return Instructions: If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, we will provide instructions for pickup of the laptop. If location is not serviceable under pickup and drop warranty than you may be required to send the laptop to us at your expense.
Inspection and Diagnosis: Upon receipt, our technicians will inspect the laptop to confirm the issue. This may take time from 7-15 business days.
Resolution: If the issue is covered under warranty, we will:
Repair the laptop if the defect is minor.
Replace the laptop with a refurbished model of similar or better specifications if the defect is major or irreparable.
7. Warranty Transferability
This warranty is only valid for the original purchaser of the refurbished laptop. It is non-transferable and cannot be applied to subsequent owners.
8. Refund /Replacement Policy

9. Customer Responsibilities
Care and Maintenance: Customers are responsible for the proper care and maintenance of their refurbished laptop. This includes:
Keeping the laptop clean and free of dust.
Avoiding exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures, and physical stress.
Installing updates to the operating system and software to ensure proper functionality.
Ensuring that all external devices and accessories used with the laptop are compatible and function properly.
Backup of Data: It is the customer's responsibility to back up all data regularly. Renovare is not liable for any data loss during the warranty service or repair process.
10. Liability Limitations
Renovare is only responsible for the repair or replacement of the refurbished laptop under the terms of this warranty. Renovare is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to, loss of data, loss of business or personal use, or any other economic or personal loss.
11. Modifications to the Warranty Policy
Renovare reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate this Warranty Policy at any time. Any changes to the policy will be posted on our website, and the updated policy will apply to all products purchased thereafter.
11. Governing Law
This Warranty Policy is governed by the laws of Government of Haryana, Gurgaon. Any disputes arising out of or related to this warranty will be resolved through arbitration or in the courts of Court of Government of Haryana, Gurgaon.

13. Additional Information
Third-Party Services: If the laptop is repaired or serviced by a third-party service provider, the warranty coverage may be voided. Always ensure that repairs are conducted by Renovare or its authorized service providers.
Refurbishment Process: Our laptops undergo thorough inspection, repair, and testing processes. These may include the replacement of faulty components, cleaning, and software optimization. The refurbished laptop is then tested to ensure it meets our quality standards before being sent to customers.
14. Conduct of Customers and Staff
GoRenovare is committed to providing a respectful and professional environment for both customers and employees. Customers are expected to treat our staff with courtesy and respect. Any abusive behaviour—such as verbal or physical threats, harassment, or disruptive conduct—will not be tolerated and may result in the limitation of warranty services or support.
Conversely, Gorenovare expects its employees to uphold the highest standards of professionalism. If a customer feels they have experienced abusive or inappropriate language from our staff, they are encouraged to report the incident to management immediately. Such reports will be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. Appropriate action will be taken to address any employee behaviour that does not align with our commitment to respect and professionalism.
